Blackboard Ultra uses intuitive and responsive design that adjusts to whatever device you use to access your courses. This provides you with more flexibility and choice in how you learn.
Additionally, Blackboard Ultra offers a streamlined grade book, pop-up announcements, and an Activity Stream to quickly identify due dates and important information across your courses, all of which should make learning easier and effective.

All Rasmussen students are provided with a download of the Microsoft Office Suite when they begin their courses. The suite includes Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and more. There are no additional costs for students. Download instructions for Microsoft Office are emailed to students shortly after their first day of class.
Students should contact Classroom IT Support for assistance resolving any technical issues they encounter. Classroom IT Support can assist students with issues related to login and password, software installation, online course navigation, student email, browsers and operating systems, assignment submissions and archive retrieval, FTP account setup, textbook shipment, Etextbook access, and digital course content.
In competency-based education (CBE) courses, students complete six assignment deliverables based on real-world scenarios to demonstrate their competency in corresponding skill areas. Each deliverable can be submitted up to three times so students can use instructor feedback to make improvements. There are no set due dates for individual assignments, but all work must be submitted before the course completion deadline.
