Often referred to as LLS, the department for the University Library & Learning Services comprises three distinct student support needs. The Learning Center is where you will find peer tutors and academic skill-building opportunities. The Writing Lab develops lifelong writing skills and supports learning APA style, grammar, and structure. Finally, the University Library provides a wealth of published information and support through our Ask a Librarian service.
The Learning Center is home to course and academic skills-based peer tutoring and asynchronous supplemental instruction at Rasmussen.
The Writing Lab features robust support for all stages of your writing development. We are committed to helping you evaluate your unique voice so you gain confidence and writing skills in a safe and inclusive space. Our resources and services range from on-demand and self-directed to appointment-based, individualized support.
The University Library is where you will go to perform research for assignments, papers, and more. You will find learning tools in our Research Help section to guide you through selecting a database, becoming an expert searcher, and using tools and techniques to save time.
