First-Time Users:
1. Watch the short instructional video above.
2. Navigate to the NoodleTools log-in page. Select "Register".
3. Follow the prompts to complete account registration.
NOTE: If you are not already authenticated to the Rasmussen resources via Blackboard, the Student Portal, or a library database, you will need to follow these steps:
1. After you clicked on "Register" (in step 2 above), on the next page, ensure this option is selected: "An account linked to a school/library subscription or trial".
2. Ensure that rasmussen is listed in the first box to the right.
3. Enter the School/Library password - You will find the password in this FAQ:
https://rasmussen.libanswers.com/restricted/faq/355442. Use your Rasmussen email address and password to access this restricted information.
TIP: When setting up your personal username/ID and password, we suggest using your current log in information for Rasmussen (see below for example):

Create a "Project" to start building your References list
1. Watch the video above.
2. Log into NoodleTools and click the green + New Project button in the upper left of the page.
3. The default setting should be APA and Advanced Style; leave the default setting as is.
4. Give your project a descriptive name so that you know which assignment it refers to.
5. Select Submit.
6. Select Sources at the top of the page to begin creating references for your sources.
7. Click the green Create Citation button in the upper left.
8. Select the type of source from the menu and follow the prompts.
