Important Information

Competency Based Education Courses

You may be enrolled in a competency-based education course(s).  We will certify your competency-based education course(s) with the term dates spanning the entire 11 weeks of the term (12 weeks for Accelerated Programs and 48 weeks for nonstandard terms). You have the option of completing these courses earlier than the scheduled end of term. However, if you choose to complete the competency-based education course(s) outside of our attendance policy, Rasmussen University must report the actual completion end date as your last date of attendance for that course to the Veteran's Affairs office. This may result in an overpayment by the VA or a reduction in the amount of Housing Allowance that is received.
