Student Loan Management

Rasmussen University recommends that students who receive federal or private student loans know what you owe. The  first step is identify what type of loans have been used towards your education and associated educational expenses.

  • Federal Student Loan Management:

    • Monitor your federal student loan debt by completing the Annual Student Loan Acknowledgment each financial aid award year.
    • Learn about federal student loan limits and explore the impacts of borrowing additional federal student loans.
    • Complete Loan Exit Counseling when you leave school or drop below half-time enrollment. The purpose of exit counseling is to ensure you understand your student loan obligations and are prepared for repayment.
