The Post 9/11 GI Bill® has a few specific components that are not available in other GI Bill® programs:
You can find more information about these programs on this page or by clicking HERE.

►Once your application is completed, keep your confirmation page for your records
►Once the DVA has reviewed your application, you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility Letter. Please provide the school with a copy. The time frame for receiving this letter can take 10-12 weeks, depending on the volume of applications the DVA reviews. This will not delay certification of your benefits or your ability to start school. However, you will not receive your Military Housing Allowance, and/or the school will not receive tuition payment until the application has been processed.
More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
The Department of Veterans Affairs will determine your percentage of eligibility based on your months and days of service. Your tuition and Monthly Housing Allowance are paid at the percentage of eligibility you are awarded.
