Research help is available through a variety of formats.

  • Written instruction guiding students through the searching process from start to finish.
  • Subject guides to support research and library resources for specific programs.
  • Video tutorials for visual learners with short, skill-focused instruction.
  • FAQs database for students to find answers 24 hours a day.

Webinars

Webinars are presented live and recorded for later viewing. Webinars are geared towards high-need topics, such as an introduction to the online library for new students, resources for nursing research, or graduate-level search strategies.

Course Integration

Rasmussen librarians provide information literacy expertise to all Rasmussen programs by:

  • Embedding research and source evaluation instruction into courses with relevant learning objectives.
  • Integrating library resources and instruction into assignments that require information literacy skills.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan allows students to access materials not available in the Rasmussen University Library collection. Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service available to all Rasmussen students at no cost. ILL requests take 1-5 business days and the full text article will be emailed to you. Want more information?
