Twin Cities Honor Flight

Honor flights help World War II Veterans and now Korean War Veterans have a day in Washington D.C. at no cost. Help welcome them home when they arrive back in MN. Come out and show your support!

WHEN:    Saturday, April 7, 2018. 

                      Saturday, September 29, 2018.  

Arrive at Terminal 2 Baggage Area by 10PM. Flight typically arrives about 10:20-10:30PM.

WHERE:  Terminal 2 (previously called the Humphrey Terminal) Minneapolis Airport, 7150 Humphrey Drive, Minneapolis, 55450

                  Meet in Baggage Area, No need to RSVP, just show up! Bring signs and lots of cheers!

Woman Veteran Build: A Day of Service

November 10, 2017

The Women's Veterans Initiative (WVI) is partnering with Habitat for Humanity again to participate in a Woman Veteran Build, a day of service, during the week of Veterans Day. The WVI scheduled the day of service for women veterans to work on a Habitat house project on November 10, 2017.   Street parking is available at the site.  The house is located at the following address:

4397 - 121st Avenue NE

Blaine, MN 55449

The volunteer day is 8:15am-4:00pm and volunteers are expected to stay for the entire shift.  Habitat does not allow split shifts for production and safety reasons.Breakfast, lunch and beverages will also be provided.
