Applications

The Rasmussen Leadership Academy will run again during the Spring 2019 Quarter.  The application process will open in early 2019.  

Please review the RLA Guide for information on the application process and program.  If you have any remaining questions, please direct all correspondence to RLA@rasmussen.edu.

RASMUSSEN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY MISSION STATEMENT

STEP 1: HOW TO APPLY

  • You will need to complete the application in the box below.
  • You will need to have a faculty member or a staff member complete the Faculty/Staff Referral Form below the Application.

​​SEND THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO YOUR FACULTY MEMBER OR STAFF MEMBER AND ADVISE THEM OF THE DEADLINE

  • Email this link to the faculty member/staff member  http://guides.rasmussen.edu/RLA  
  • In your email ask them to complete the online Faculty/Staff Referral form (below the Application on this page).

STEP 2: APPLICATION EVALUATION PROCESS

Once your application is received, it will be evaluated based on the rubric below. 

STEP 3: NEXT STEPS

You will receive notification if you have been accepted into the academy or not.  This notification is typically sent to your student email (SMAIL) address.  You will be notified during Week 13, so be sure to check your email over the break weeks.

  • If you are accepted, you will be sent forms to complete and send back to the coordinators.  It is important that these documents are sent back to the coordinators within the requested timeframe.  Failure to submit these documents in a timely manner may result in the forfeiture of your spot in RLA.
  • If you are not accepted, you are welcome to reapply for a future RLA session.
